Its been pumped for the last couple of months, havent people learned that yet? Buy cocoa instruments with leverage and do some intraday trading. 10-20% a day isnt that hard.
There's never logic in trading. Anyways take the pattern for today as an example. There has been a support resistance level through out the whole day which you could've bounced of and bought down on. Same thing for the vast majority of days in april and may.

1ST OF ALL if you lean on pattern than you should see the chart ..if its not going up after jump it will go down.. see the chart when it reached 9 last time ..fell down to 7 after 2-3 days of establishing the top. situation is ....7000 about to be a good buying point 9000-9400 is the top this is the trading range and people should not invest more than 20% of their money specially not by buying at 9000 with leverage

We are but USA is ruining the fun in trading by manipulating too much, everything falls, coffee, orange juice, all bearish Momentum for cocoa etc
Coffee and Cocoa climbed almost over 10% each in a week, profit taking is normal and many of the commodities you listed are over bought on lower time frames.. not to mention selling on friday is common for a lot if assests. This also dosen’t explain the hostility to each other on the forum if the common enemy are institutional participants manipulating the price. Either way Long or Short I wish you a successful trading day and relaxing weekend my friend🫂🫱🏽‍🫲🏾
