Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Agriculture, Basic Industry and Infrastructure sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index rose 0.80%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Citatah Tbk (JK:CTTH), which rose 34.88% or 30 points to trade at 116 at the close. Meanwhile, Global Teleshop Tbk (JK:GLOB) added 34.50% or 59 points to end at 230 and Indofarma Tbk (JK:INAF) was up 20.41% or 1000 points to 5900 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Majapahit Inti Corpora Tbk PT (JK:AKSI), which fell 20.63% or 130 points to trade at 500 at the close. Bank Maspion Indonesia Tbk (JK:BMAS) declined 12.50% or 48 points to end at 336 and Asuransi Tugu Pratama Indonesia Tbk PT (JK:TUGU) was down 12.04% or 360 points to 2630.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 218 to 163 and 119 ended unchanged.
Shares in Indofarma Tbk (JK:INAF) rose to all time highs; rising 20.41% or 1000 to 5900. Shares in Asuransi Tugu Pratama Indonesia Tbk PT (JK:TUGU) fell to all time lows; losing 12.04% or 360 to 2630.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.07% or 0.05 to $72.17 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.28% or 0.23 to hit $81.61 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.05% or 0.60 to trade at $1188.00 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.13% to 14902.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.96% to 10885.20.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.29% at 94.88.
